Starting near Himley Plantation (DY3 4LP), this scenic out-and-back route follows the historic railway line to Wombourne Railway Café and returns to the starting point. The route is completely traffic-free, fully marshalled, and led by a lead cyclist, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for runners of all ages and abilities.

Entry is just £5 with on-the-night registration only. Arrive early, as registration opens at 6.15pm near the Himley Plantation car park and will close promptly at 6.45pm with a 7pm start time. Race numbers will be distributed at this time - please note: gun time only, no chip timing.

The fast and flat course starts and finishes near Himley Plantation and follows a traffic-free route out to the Wombourne Railway Café and back. Please note that there are no toilets, changing facilities, or bag drop available at the event. After crossing the finish line, runners can collect a complimentary bottle of water.

This is a test event, and if successful, Tipton Harriers plan to develop it into a more formal race with an officially measured course and additional facilities.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Tipton Harriers and Action Heart, supporting local athletics and heart health initiatives.

Come along, enjoy the summer evening, and support two great causes while doing what you love – running!
