Travelling in two mini buses, excitement and anticipation filled the air as the group arrived at the stables. Welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm, the ladies were introduced to several of Alex’s magnificent horses, each one brought out individually by the stable hand. Alex captivated the group with fascinating insights into each horse’s breed, personality, and racing potential, sparking a flurry of questions and lively conversation.

Petting the horses proved to be a highlight of the day, with many of the ladies forming instant connections with the gentle animals. “It was so calming just being near them,” said one attendee. “You can feel their strength but also their kindness.”

The visit continued with a steady stroll up to the gallops, where the group witnessed the horses in full flight — galloping gracefully around the course, muscles rippling and spirits high. The sheer beauty and power of the moment left the group in awe.

The afternoon ended with a peaceful walk over to the paddocks, where the horses grazed happily in the sunshine — a serene and grounding end to a truly therapeutic day.

“This trip wasn’t just about the horses — it was about connection, healing, and doing something a little different that brought us all joy,” said Rachael, the group’s founder. “We are so grateful to Alex Hales and his team for making us feel so welcome.”
