Walkabout, the UK’s original Aussie sports bar, is turning 30, and to celebrate, it’s giving one lucky winner the chance to win the ultimate birthday gift: a trip for two to Australia!
The milestone marks three decades of Walkabout bringing the spirit of Down Under to towns and cities across the UK - including Birmingham – and now the brand, owned by Stonegate Group, is saying cheers to the big 3-0 with a month-long celebration full of giveaways, food and drink specials, and two huge birthday events.
As part of the celebrations, Walkabout is giving away the ultimate birthday present – a £3,000 trip to Australia, which includes:

To enter, you simply need to like, share and comment on the Walkabout Instagram post launching Friday 25 July. One lucky winner will be chosen at random when the competition closes a month later.
Walkabout first opened its doors in Covent Garden in the 1990s, originally called Outback Bar, with a mission to bring the best bits of Aussie culture such as cold beer, laid-back vibes, and wall-to-wall sport, to the UK. To mark the occasion, every Walkabout across the country will be throwing two big birthday bashes:
Birthday Bottomless Brunch – Saturday 19 July, 5-7pm
Get stuck into a brunch party like no other, with a free Malibu cocktail on arrival (choose from a Blue Aussie Breeze or Pink Koala) and two hours of food and drinks.
Official 30th birthday party – Saturday 2 August
Expect DJs, themed décor, epic drinks deals and a full-on Aussie knees-up as Walkabout celebrates its landmark birthday across the UK.
The party doesn’t stop there – Walkabout is rolling out a Parmi Takeover, paying homage to the Aussie pub classic with a menu of loaded chicken parmis, including a Parmi & Pint deal every Wednesday.
And for those in the mood for a summer sip, the new ‘Your Summer Go-To’s’ cocktail range is shaking things up with three fruity creations available 2-for-1 from Sunday to Friday (excluding Saturdays). Try the Brizzy Brew with lime and Fosters, a crisp Cider Sunset, or the sparkling Peach Ripper topped with Red Bull White Peach.
