Students had the red-carpet treatment being photographed and receiving their bespoke cocktails from The Moathouse in Acton Trussell. This year the students dined on a custom three course Italian inspired menu as they reminisced on their time at Wolgarston.

“I’m going to miss Wolgarston, it has been such an important part of my life,” said Nelly Aston (Year 13 student), “We have all had such an amazing time at prom, for some of us it will be the last time we see each other. It will be an evening I will always remember.”

“What a magical evening!” said Mr Daniel Boden (Headteacher), “The Year 13 Prom was a beautiful celebration of friendship, memories, and new beginnings. Students arrived in style and danced the night away, marking the end of their school journey with elegance and joy. A huge thank you to the staff and parents who helped make the night so special – it was truly unforgettable.”

“This annual event marks an important milestone for our Year 13 students, as they are now leaving Wolgarston to embark on new journeys and experiences, whether it is university, employment or a gap year travelling the world,” said Mr Matthew Skinner (Assistant Headteacher), “We wish them all the best in their future careers.”

“We could not have done this event without the help of our staff and The Moathouse,” said Miss Sarah-Jane Roberts (Learning Resources Centre Administrator), “We would also like to thank Party Box in Bushbury for as always supplying us with fantastic décor for the evening.”
