Standout students Theo Hughes (year 7), Ethan Cosnett (year 8) and Jacob Hammond (year 9), received Head of Year awards for displaying politeness, kindness and determination, dedication and hard work.

Described as “compassionate and caring”, a top achiever with impeccable manners and an incredible singing voice, Eisa Javed was awarded Student of the Year for year 7.

The year 8 Student of the Year title went to Maisie Crocker for her “boundless enthusiasm”, and being a perfect role model who “radiates positivity”.

Tennis ace Maisie Thompson, described as one of the most “consistent and exceptional” students in her year, known for her kindness to others, was presented with the year 9 Student of the Year award.

Jensen O’Mahony, who started year 7 late, earned the Triumph over Adversity award for settling in quickly and living out the school values of kindness, determination and respect, becoming a much-valued member of the year group.

Dr Lizzy Ford, headteacher, said: “All the students who received awards are shining lights in the way they exemplify our school values. They work hard for themselves and look out for their classmates, have become role models and highly regarded members of their year groups.

“We are delighted by the brilliant personal and academic growth they have made already and wish them well as they move up through our school.”
