Anna Hubble wins the July TSF Award for Heroes

The awards first launched in 2021 by High Sheriff Award winner Shaz Saleem to recognise community champions who do outstanding work supporting their area.

The incredible Anna Hubble from Grandpa's Sweet Shop, Wall Heath has won this month's TSF Award For Heroes.

Anna was nominated by Ann Evett, who said: "Anna will always go the extra mile, she was so kind during the pandemic helping me keep in touch with loved ones with her lovely goodies. Nothing is to much trouble, and I know how active she is in the local community.

"Anna is such an important part of the village community, always engaging in every event, such as the annual Jingle the Wall Heath Way Christmas trail, with enthusiasm."

The Award was presented by our community champion Lydia Longville from the Bonsai Black Belt Academy, Kingswinford, who said: "It's absolutely amazing hearing the lovely work done by Anna, on behalf of Bonsai Black Belt Academy we are proud to present this award to such a fantastic person!"

Shaz Saleem said: "I personally believe it's important to recognise community ambassadors who make our area better for all.

This award was founded by The Saleem Foundation and sponsored by the Bonsai Black Belt Academy to recognise local heroes.
