Stafford Jobs Fair set to connect hundreds of jobseekers with local opportunities
Co-hosted by Leigh Ingham MP and Stafford JobCentre Plus, the Stafford Jobs Fair will take place at Stafford College on Wednesday, 30 July, from 11am to 1pm. It’s a free, friendly event designed to help people across the area find jobs, explore training options, and speak directly with local employers and support services.
With full-time and part-time roles, apprenticeships, and skills training all on offer, it’s a chance for anyone looking to take their next step - whether you’re just starting out, returning to work, or thinking about a career change.
Leigh Ingham, MP for Stafford, Eccleshall, and the villages said: “This event is about opening doors for people – whether it’s their first job, a fresh start, or a new skill. Stafford has some brilliant employers and opportunities, and I want to make sure everyone in our community can access them. This is about fairness, support, and helping people take that next step with confidence.”

Stu Aitken, Employer Advisor at Stafford JobCentre Plus, said: “The Summer Jobs Fair is a great opportunity for jobseekers to meet employers face-to-face, see what’s out there, and get practical support in a positive and welcoming space.”
Craig Hodgson, Principal and CEO of Newcastle and Stafford College Group said: “As a college, we’re committed to supporting learners and the wider community in accessing meaningful careers and training opportunities. Bringing together employers, providers, and jobseekers at Stafford College at an event like this is a great way to do that.”
