Lichfield Chamber to 'supercharge' local businesses with exciting new two-pronged initiative
Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce has launched a new weekly and monthly events programme which is designed to further power networking, collaboration, and growth across the local business community.
President Ruth Redgate said the move would ignite fresh momentum for local enterprise, bringing Lichfield’s business scene to life like never before.
The initiative sees the chamber hosting two regular events at the Council Chamber in Lichfield District Council House:
A monthly breakfast networking session held on the first Wednesday of each month, 7am-9am,
A co-working Wednesday session held every Wednesday, 9am-12 noon.
Move extends opportunities for Lichfield businesses to grow stronger together
These sessions are set to create an ongoing, welcoming hub for professionals, sole traders, freelancers, and business owners to come together, share ideas, and build stronger local networks across the city and beyond.
Entrepreneur Ruth, who is CEO of Hunnypot Cottage Bakery, said: “This move is about creating a reliable, accessible space where Lichfield’s diverse business community can grow stronger together.
“This initiative is a key part of our ongoing efforts to enable people to connect, share ideas, and to build partnerships that benefit the wider district.”

Two-pronged move set to help Lichfield businesses to further boost visibility
Lichfield District Council’s Councillor Richard Holland, Cabinet Member for High Street and Economic Development, said “We’re delighted to support this initiative.
“Opening our space to host regular business networking and co-working reflects our ongoing support for the local economy and innovative collaboration.
“Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce’s new presence in the building, including the podcasting facility, brings fresh energy into our shared workspaces.”
As part of its commitment to supporting local enterprise, Chamber members are encouraged to bring pop-up banners, flyers, or promotional material to the monthly breakfast events to extend the opportunity to boost visibility among fellow local businesses. Guests are also invited to bring their own breakfast to the morning networking events, while hot drinks will be provided.
The weekly co-working space is aimed at offering a calm and professional environment ideal for focused work, planning, or spontaneous conversation.
