Homebuilder welcomes new Staffordshire recruit
Barratt Homes West Midlands has taken on a new member of its growing team in Uttoxeter.
Claire Pagel (50) has joined the leading housebuilder as a Sales Adviser, based at the Poppy Fields development on Dowling Road.
Originally from Hednesford, Claire had already been very familiar with all that Staffordshire has to offer before beginning her new role in October.
She said: “I have two friends that already worked for Barratt Homes and highly recommended a job here. It already had an outstanding reputation as a five-star homebuilder from a customer perspective, but it’s a great employer too.
“There is great communication within the company. We receive lots of support from colleagues and managers, and there are many opportunities to learn new skills through the training provided.”
Claire’s new role involves greeting customers and carrying out appointments, where she will go through paperwork, development and build layouts, and available options for the home buyers.
She will also keep in regular contact with new and existing customers to ensure they are happy with the process and service, and answer any questions they may have.
Claire continued: “The interaction with the customers is certainly my favourite aspect of the role so far. Finding out what they want in a new home and helping to facilitate their move is very fulfilling. I have just had my first customers complete on the development which I had very much been looking forward to.”
She is now looking to build on her successful beginnings by completing her Site Safety Plus training, which will be the final of her modules.
