Rosie named Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor at CECA Southern Awards
Rosie Bevans, from Stafford, has been named the Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Southern Awards ceremony in London.
Rosie, who works for Murphy, is currently working towards a BSc in Quantity Surveying. She received the accolade for her high level of performance and impressed the judges by taking on additional responsibility at work. She also supports local education events to encourage year 11 students to consider pursuing an apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying / Construction.
Alan Cox, CECA Southern Chair, commented: “Rosie is someone with a great future ahead of her and goes out of her way to encourage more young people to consider a career in our great industry.”

The CECA Southern Awards are presented annually in recognition of exceptional performance. As winner of Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor Award, sponsored by Four Tees Engineers, Rosie received an inscribed trophy and cheque for £500.
