The new store will officially open its doors on Thursday, 3 July at 10am, offering shoppers 66 square meters of retail space packed with an extensive selection of high-quality pre-loved treasures. From menswear and womenswear to children's clothing, accessories, books, homewares, and unique finds, there will be something for everyone at unbeatable prices.

Located in Boley Park on Ryknild Street, the new shop represents a major income stream for St Giles Hospice, which provides specialist end of life care services. This new location will help extend the charity's fundraising reach whilst serving the local community.

Robert Evans, Head of Retail of St Giles Hospice, said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be opening our 24th shop in such a wonderful location. Every item sold and every donation received directly supports our patients and families during the most challenging times of their lives. This new shop will be instrumental in helping us continue providing the highest quality end of life care to our local community."

The timing couldn't be more crucial for the charity, which spends close to £10 million annually providing specialist services, with just 18% funded by the Government. Last year alone, St Giles shops raised over £500,000 - a testament to the generosity of everyone who donated items, shopped in store, and volunteered their time.

Deborah Armstrong, Retail Development Manager, added: "We're thrilled to be opening in Boley Park and becoming part of this welcoming local community. Our charity shops are the lifeblood of our fundraising efforts, and we couldn't continue our vital work without the incredible support of our customers, donors, and volunteers."

Every purchase made at the new Lichfield shop directly funds vital care for local people, and their loved ones, living with terminal illness, making each shopping trip a meaningful contribution to the community.

The charity is inviting local residents to join them for the grand opening and discover some fantastic bargains whilst supporting an incredible cause. The shop will also be actively seeking donations of good quality clothing, books, homewares, and accessories to keep the shelves stocked with treasures for bargain hunters.

With 24 shops now operating across Staffordshire and surrounding areas, St Giles Hospice's retail network continues to be a cornerstone of the charity's fundraising strategy, enabling them to provide compassionate, specialist end of life care when it's needed most.
