Cannock-based dance academy launches free and low cost activities for children this summer

Crystal Academy, located in Hednesford, is proud to announce the launch of its funded and partially-funded summer holiday camps, delivering high-energy and creative activities for children and young people aged 5–14 across Cannock and Staffordshire.

Thanks to the generous support of Cannock Chase District Council, Staffordshire County Council, the Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, and The Noel Sweeney Foundation, over 120 free and subsidised places per week are now available for children and young people from low-income families and those in receipt of free school meals.

Hosted at Crystal Academy: Aerial Arts and Dance CIC, the camps offer a wide range of inclusive and exciting activities including:

  • Aerial Hoop

  • Acrobatics

  • Dance

  • Creative Crafts

We run in a safe, welcoming environment, helping children build confidence, develop new skills, stay active, and have fun this summer.

As part of the SPACE scheme, Crystal Academy’s holiday camps are part of a wider effort to reduce youth isolation, improve wellbeing, and create positive, enriching experiences for local children during the school holidays.
