The event was filled with enthusiasm from both children and residents as everyone took part in traditional sports day activities, including the sack race and egg and spoon race.

All who attended had a fantastic time and residents and staff were thrilled to welcome the pupils, the home is already looking forward to welcoming the children back next month.

Bhav Amlani of Macc Care said: “Events like these really capture the essence of what our homes are about – bringing people together, sharing joy, and creating meaningful moments. It’s wonderful to see our residents and the children interacting, laughing and enjoying such a fun-filled afternoon. We’re incredibly grateful to Berrybrook School for helping make the day so special.”

The event is a reflection of Macc Care’s ongoing commitment to ensuring residents lead fulfilling lives. By offering a varied programme of engaging activities that support emotional wellbeing and social connection, Macc Care continues to create home-from-home environments where every individual is supported.
