The immersive platform, developed in collaboration with frontline professionals and young people across the UK, uses emotionally powerful 360-degree films to foster empathy, understanding, and informed decision-making among youth and those who support them.

Their latest initiative on Knife Crime and Serious Youth Violence emerged in response to growing concerns from frontline professionals about the need for a practical, impactful tool to help young people and those who support them address this critical issue. In collaboration with professionals across the UK, including Thurrock and Enfield Councils, police officers, educators, youth justice teams, foster care agencies, social care workers and young people themselves, they have developed a series of films designed to build awareness around the risks and consequences of knife carrying.

Their approach is designed to reframe how youth knife crime is understood and addressed, facilitating a more empathetic and effective approach to help young people make safer, more informed choices.

Speaking after his visit, Warinder Juss MP said: “Watching the VR film was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve had. It was raw and emotional. You don’t just see the story—you feel it. It gave me a new perspective on what some of our young people are going through and why they might make the choices they do. This kind of immersive tool is exactly what we need to break through the statistics and connect with the real lives behind them. I’m proud to support Cornerstone VR’s work and will champion its use in my community.”

Having passionate advocates engage with and support our initiative helps us drive forward the conversations that matter, the kind that can truly shift perspectives and protect young lives.”
