Andrew Titley's wake could not have happened without live music. Family and friends reconnected and played. There are no words to describe that day and that performance.

Following on from his wake and the overwhelming response we received from playing those songs, we have recorded them. They are incredible... and beautiful.

We hope to raise as much money as possible for St David’s Hospice/Hosbis Dewi Sant through the sale of CDs and digital downloads of the songs.

St David’s Hospice gave so much support to Andrew and Karen, including organising a last minute but absolutely beautiful wedding for them, just under a week before his passing.

There are a limited number of CDs available, which feature artwork painted by Andrew in his final weeks at St David’s Hospice. Alternatively you can choose a digital download of the songs. We would suggest a minimum donation of £10 per CD/download, but if you are able to donate more it would be greatly appreciated.

The EP consists of four original songs, three from the early noughties that focus on being young, navigating through love, friendships, and life within the Black Country. Another track was written this year, and was shaped by conversations between Andrew and Bowater.

The band name 'We Were Kings' comes from the title of one of Andrew's own original songs. All of the band members come from Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge. Andrew is originally from Sedgley but was living in Wales when he became unwell with cancer, which is why he was supported by the hospice close to his home, St David's.
