Bank Holiday Plant Fair returns to Arley Arboretum
This Bank Holiday Monday, Plant Hunters Fairs return to Arley Arboretum with a brilliant selection of specialist plant nurseries. Entry to the plant fair and parking is absolutely free, so plant lovers can just pop in to browse the amazing plant stalls.
Martin Blow of Plant Hunters Fairs said “As spring turns to summer it’s a great time to fill the gaps left by spring bulbs. We have a wonderful line-up of specialist nurseries attending. There will be lots of flowering perennials and shrubs for instant colour plus plenty of later flowering plants to plant now for colour into the summer and beyond. Wildflowers, clematis, herbs, alpines and plants for shade will also feature at the fair. The nursery folk are on hand to help, each with years of knowledge and experience, and full of helpful tips. There will also be a wonderful range of garden accessories available for those finishing touches.”
The arboretum & Garden is also open at normal prices if you choose to enter. Popular with nature lovers, families and walkers, Arley Arboretum is a magical place to visit with 30 acres of natural beauty, offering a dream escape from the bustle of everyday life with plenty to enjoy for all ages from the Italian garden with its fountain, the tranquil wonderland of rare and ancient trees and wonderful panoramic views.
The plant fair is free to enter and will be open from 10am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. There is free parking.
The garden tearoom will be serving light refreshments. Dogs on leads are very welcome in the fair and arboretum.
Arley Arboretum DY12 1SQ is just off the A442 between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, tucked away amidst beautiful countryside on the banks of the River Severn.
