Stourbridge friends launch 'Our Stourbridge' to share community joy
Stacy Hammond and Sarah McDowall, two childhood friends from Stourbridge, have launched a new initiative called ‘Our Stourbridge’.
Their mission is to spread happiness and bring joy by sharing positive stories from the local community.
Do you have a story that brings a smile to your face? Whether it's a milestone birthday, a personal achievement, the success of an independent business or anything else, Stacy and Sarah want to hear from you! They are gathering these uplifting stories to share through a publication and on their Instagram (@ourstourbridge) where you can find the link to submit your story through their online form.
Stacy Hammond co-creator and local artist said: “Creating art within the community opened my eyes to all the wonderful things in Stourbridge - stories I might never have heard otherwise. That’s what inspired Our Stourbridge - a platform to share and celebrate those moments. When I shared the idea with Sarah, it just clicked, and together we’re bringing it to life. I couldn’t be more excited that we get to bring this to life together.”
