There are multiple splash pads across the Black Country that are perfect to cool off in this weekend.
Temperatures are still expected to be in the 20s region this weekend and there are multiple splash pads across the Black Country that will be perfect to cool off in.
They make for a great day out for families as children will be busy having fun in the water.
Listed below are splash parks in the Black Country to visit this weekend.
Walsall splash pad

Walsall Arboretum is one of the best-known family parks in the Black Country and has a popular seasonal splash pad and water play area near the children’s playgrounds.
Located on Broadway North in Walsall (WS1 2QB), it’s ideal for younger children with shallow jets and plenty of space to run around. The arboretum also has cafés, lakes, toilets, and large grassy picnic areas, making it easy to spend most of the day there.
Stourbridge splash pad
Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge (DY8 2AA) is a large Victorian park with family-friendly facilities including a dedicated splash and water play zone that becomes especially busy during school holidays and sunny weekends.
The splash area sits close to the playground, café, and miniature railway, so it works well for mixed-age families.
West Bromwich splash pad
Dartmouth Park in West Bromwich (B71 4AS) is a hilltop park overlooking Sandwell Valley and includes family play areas with seasonal water features and splash-style play equipment during warmer months.
It’s a good option if you want a quieter setting compared with Walsall Arboretum, and there are walking trails, ornamental gardens, and open lawns nearby.
Wolverhampton splash pad
East Park in Wolverhampton is one of the city’s oldest parks and regularly operates seasonal splash and water play facilities during spring and summer weekends.
Families tend to use it alongside the large playgrounds, boating lake, and sports areas. It’s centrally located and easy to access from most parts of Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country.
