Opening date announced for heated outdoor swimming pool around 45 minutes drive from Wolverhampton
An opening date has been announced for an outdoor swimming pool near Wolverhampton.
An open-air heated swimming pool around a 45-minute drive from Wolverhampton is re-opening very soon.
The heated pool at The Severn Centre in Shropshire is very popular and is expected to be busy during the summer months.
There is music, pool toys, and floats - making it one of the perfect places to cool off this summer.

The water in the 25 x 10 metre pool is heated to a balmy 29 degrees.
Located in Bridgnorth, the Severn Centre also has a large playground with a zip wire, a skate park, a library, an outdoor pitch, sports hall and a gym.
The Severn Centre told the Express & Star that it is aiming to be open on the 1 May onwards.
This means means it will be open throughout the May half term holidays and the second Bank Holiday too.
The Severn Centre posted on Facebook today (April 30) reminding customers that they can book their spot in advance for the outdoor pool via the Halo App - which is free to download on the Apple App store and Google Play store.
One user commented saying “fantastic!”.
You have to join to use the facilities but there's no membership fee and online registration is simple.
Alternatively, you can take out Halo membership to get free access to any of the swimming sessions.
