The multi-million pound Odeon Luxe Cinema finally opened its doors in Stafford - and it's far more than simply reclining chairs.

Watching a film at the luxurious £6.5 million development re-defines the cinema experience.

It is entirely immersive with the comfort of home blended with state-of-the-art screens and sound systems.

There is no battling for arm space with the person you are sat beside, nor any awkwardly manoeuvring across stranger's legs during a trip to the toilet, because the seats offer plenty of space and there is triple the leg room.

The height of the experience is the fact that, with a low hum, the 423 luxury handmade chairs recline to offer ultimate comfort without having to position yourself awkwardly to still see the screen.

Any possibility of thinking you could float off into a deep sleep due to the cosy environment is eradicated by the sound of the film booming through the impressive surround sound speakers.

Each chair also has its own retractable table to enjoy the variety of food from the foyer and drink including hot beverages from the Costa Coffee station or even alcoholic beverages bought from the bar.
