Teenage frontman far from 'Lost' with his band as he prepares for two big Birmingham gigs
The Oldbury-based teenage frontman of a band which is playing two big Birmingham venues in quick succession is still keeping his career options open.

At just 17, Josh Millard-Lloyd fronts rock and pop outfit 'The Lost' who will be playing the 02 Academy3 on Saturday night (October 18), then headlining at the Rainbow, Digbeth the following Wednesday.
When he was eight years old, Josh became a child actor, appearing in films including Ray and Liz and Nativity Rocks with Craig Revel Horwood, Celia Imrie and Ruth Jones.
He also has a burgeoning broadcasting career with Black Country Radio (BCR) and Black Country Xtra after going in for work experience and following it up with an interview about his band before becoming a fully fledged presenter.
His radio work has led him to become part of the Buskin' for Charity group along with fellow presenter and poet Billy Spakemon who he says has 'become a mentor' to him - the pair teamed up for a charity football match at Tividale FC last year.

Josh is enrolled on a music performance course at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) where he met the other four members of the band, Ben Brindle; Jake Clift from Walsall; Joe Cooper from Hagley and Bryce Gersbach who is originally from South Africa but now lives in Bromsgrove.

Josh told the Express & Star: "As young people who met at the same music college, we all bonded over our shared love for music and performing on stage.
"Our first gig was at The Rainbow so to go back there next week will be special as will the O2 gig on Saturday night.
"Black Country Radio have been great in terms of promoting the band and giving me work experience which has led to me presenting programmes on Xtra which is speech-based. Billy has become a great friend and I have learned a lot from him, he does so much for the community as well.
"In terms of the band I would describe our sets as a mix of original songs and covers, but it’s the originals that really define us: upbeat and full of raw energy.
"What we enjoy most is the chemistry and friendship we have on stage which has come from being friends at college and a lot of rehearsals and writing sessions.
"We’ve grown together as musicians, and we hope that connection comes through every time we play live which is what we love doing."
Josh said he maintains an agent for any acting work that should be available and continues to volunteer at BCR but at the moment is concentrating on his college studies and rehearsing and playing with The Lost.
