WATCH: Titan-ic day for Walsall's Old Square shopping centre visitors
Eight-foot celebrity robot Titan, who has performed with the likes of Rihanna and the Rolling Stones, rolled in to Walsall's Old square shopping centre to show off his moves.
Titan delivered half hour long performances of comedy, street theatre and music throughout the day.
Roger Tovell, part of the marketing team for the centre, said: "Titan is the world's most famous robot. He has a bit of a slapstick comedy routine, is around 8ft tall and has a very good sense of humour. He has been part of the stage with Rihanna and the Rolling Stones and has toured Russia and the Middle East."
The robot, who has 43,689 likes on Facebook, 6,884 followers on Twitter and performs regularly as part of major gigs, festivals and parties, is not the first entertaining individual that has come to promote Old Square. "We've had some special hula hoopers who previously appeared on X Factor come along to the square to perform their tricks last summer and other events to encourage parents to bring along their children to the square to play.
"But Titan has such a phenomenal following by the public that he really is here by popular demand. I went with him to Bury a few months ago and one man there reeled off all the places he had seen Titan, it was incredible really," Mr Tovell added.
