VIDEO 'Great for Birmingham, great for everybody': £150m Resorts World opens
Birmingham's £150m Resorts World opened to great fanfare today, with visitors describing it as 'great for Birmingham and great for everybody'.
The complex is the first of its kind in Europe, boasting a casino, four-star hotel, 50 outlet stores, bars, restaurants, conference centre and an IMAX cinema all under one roof.

The resort has been described as the first of its type in the UK, where operations manager Barry Clemo said the resort will appeal to shoppers, concert goers and casino players.
Mr Clemo said: "We're promoting the daytime experience on the 21st with two thirds of the retail shops open, three or four of the restaurants and you would be able to enjoy that experience and soak up the atmosphere.
"The evening experience, which is made up of the cinema, five spectacular bars and the casino, is opening up on the 26th. So we're kind of coming to life in two stages within a week of each other."
