The Black Sabbath frontman dressed in his usual black clothing and held up cards - in a parody of the famous Bob Dylan video for Subterranean Homesick Blues - asking people to support his son Jack, who is currently performing on the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.

In the 44-second long video the Prince of Darkness says: "My son Jack is in the finals of dancing with the stars this Monday at 8pm.

"Please vote for Jack. God Bless."

The appeal by the 64-year-old from Aston, Birmingham seems to have worked as on the show Jack managed to gain three 10's from the judges and won enough votes to stay on the show.

Decked out in top hat and tails, Jack danced with partner Cheryl Burke and burst out in tears when he saw the results.

He will appear again tonight in the shows finale.
