She spends her days dressed in old rags as Cinderella, but Wolverhampton's panto star Danielle York has cast her broom aside to show female readers how to sparkle during the party season - in glitzy glad rags.

And like all hard-working women, Cinders shows that it is possible to be transformed into a party princess - with a little bit of help from a fab frock.

We tracked down a selection of the hottest high street dresses to be seen in over the festive season.
