Office workers enjoyed a workout at work today when a fitness guru and television camera crew broadcast live from the Express & Star in Wolverhampton.
Fitness trainer Tracey Mallett, who hails from the Black Country, brought GMTV's Drop a Dress Size weight loss plan to the city.
The exercise class with a difference was staged at the newspaper's head office in Queen Street, with 38-year-old Tracey, who is originally from Willenhall, leading a team of staff in a fitness session live on television.
The mother-of-two, who is now based in California, presents the TV show's festive fitness plan – and was thrilled to bring it home to help motivate Wolverhampton office workers.
"We usually work from the studio in London but it has been great to bring out to the public, especially as we are in Wolverhampton," she said.
"It's great to see so many people from the Black Country are following the Drop a Dress Size plan," she added. Gwyneth Slavin, 49, was one of the fitness fans working out on television today.
The sales executive has lost five- and-a-half-pounds since she started following the plan two weeks ago.
"As I've been working I don't see it on TV but I catch up on-line. I've been following Tracey's body blast, which is a great six-minute cardio warm-up.
"It's easy to fit in to your lifestyle – I manage to do that while I'm putting the kettle on," she said.
"I'd love to lose a stone before Christmas – so I can fit into my little black dress for the party season," Gwyneth added.
