Tens of thousands of bike enthusiasts poured into Staffordshire over the weekend for the annual Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show.
Record crowds descended on the County Showground with attendance in excess of 30,000 over the two days.
But despite an increase on Saturday of three per cent on last year, there was no repeat of the extensive traffic jams.
Last year there were huge hold-ups on the A518 Weston Road but organisers worked with police on new traffic arrangements to ease congestion. Improvements costing more than £100,000 have been carried out at the showground ahead of major events being staged this autumn including the 16th annual classic motorcycle event at which former world motorcycle racing champion "Fast Freddie" Spencer was guest of honour.
One of the groups exhibiting at the show was Hednesford Motorcycle Club with a display ranging from a Honda 125 to a Honda 750 and Suzuki to Verda.
Trustee Mick Gallear said: "We had quite a few people express an interest in joining."
