Life in the frame for Jackie

A Wolverhampton photographer is putting people in the picture about her work for the first time at the age of 66.

Jackie Adams has been a keen travelling for a considerable time and regularly took snaps while on her journeys.

Now she has developed her photographic skills by going on a number of specialist courses and is showing the results to a wider audience with her first public exhibition.

Six pieces chosen from a larger portfolio of work are now on show in the city centre Lock Works Cafe Bar at the Light House in Chubb Buildings, Fryer Street.

Light House exhibition curator Miss Kathryn Kliszat explained: "Miss Adams has always been a keen photographer and taken pictures on her travels.

"She has now been spurred to hold her first public exhibition after attending some courses. We are displaying six pieces."

The show is called Face The East and features portrait photographs taken during her travels through China.

It is open from Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 9 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm on Saturday until November 13.
