The Wolverhampton schoolboy is enjoying a new-found showbiz lifestyle after landing a regular spot in front of millions on Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show. He has a chauffeur-driven Mercedes and his own dressing room after his star potential was spotted by the show's producers.
They brought their cameras to Wolverhampton's Woden Primary School in search of up-and-coming talent and interviewed pupils in the classroom.
Cory, who lives with his mother Sheridan and 19-year-old brother Daniel in Field Street, Springfield, was today making his way down to the London studios ahead of tonight's live show at 5pm.
This will be the fourth time he has appeared on the programme and will be reviewing new toys.
"Paul is a really nice man and he always smiles at me and makes me laugh," Cory said. "It is an adventure going to London and I get to wear different costumes – I've been a snail and a cowboy but Spiderman was my favourite.
"I'm not nervous, I'm cool and calm. I think they picked me because I made them laugh by telling jokes."
His mother Sheridan, a full-time student at Wolverhampton University, said: "They visited the school in January and then called Cory on the phone for a 25-minute interview. He's a confident little chap and isn't phased by anything.
"We're all really proud of him and hopefully it will be the start of something big."
