Ray's gearing up to do things by halves

Stafford's running paramedic, Ray Edensor, who has come out of running retirement to local charities, is seeking sponsorship from firms and businesses.
Starting on Thursday the 50-year-old ambulanceman will be running the Stafford Half Marathon course every day for 25 days to mark its 25th anniversary.
"I want to help charities that are close to my heart, and charities that are going to help my community," said Ray who is looking for firms and businesses to sponsor him at the rate of £300 for one day or £500 for two days.

The charities to benefit are County Air Ambulance, Dreams come True and NACCPO. A fourth is yet to be decided on.
