Savvy students at a Wolverhampton school have been set a challenge to make as much money as possible from just £10 as part of a scheme bankrolled by millionaire Dragons Den panelist Peter Jones.
Twenty pupils from Highfields Science Specialist School in Penn have each been given a crisp £10 note as part of the £20,000 national initiative. The scheme is being run by Make Your Mark, with the backing of the entrepreneur, in the aim of getting more youngsters thinking about business and enterprise.
Highfield students have also called in Alison Rawlings from the Wolverhampton Education Business Partnership to get some business pointers.
They have the whole month of February to increase the amount and can then choose to pocket the profit, donate it to a good cause or use it to set up a business.
Caroline Maggs from Make Your Mark said: "Being enterprising is the ability of individuals, groups and businesses to respond to change, take risks, innovate and generate ideas."
