We have launched an events guide, covering everything that is going on in the region and beyond.

Films, gigs, theatre and nights out – all can be covered using our state-of-the-art search pod.

The listings search facility allows you to find out about thousands of events going on locally, including children's days out and museum exhibitions.

Now we want readers to send in their photos and videos from their nights out to appear on the site. It may be you and your friends in a local bar or pub, or boogying the night away at one of the top nightspots. Don't let your videos get lost on You Tube or Facebook.

The section also covers art exhibitions, museums, days out, children's event, dance and festivals. You can also book tickets for major events on the site, via our online booking partner Ticketmaster.
