Dudley boxer Darren McDermott would fight British middleweight champion Wayne Elcock in his back garden – and he has the facility to back it up.
The "Black Country Bodysnatcher", who finds out today where the Elcock fight will take place, has had a 40 foot by 20 foot log cabin specially erected in the back garden of his Woodsetton home to prepare.
"My father-in-law, who builds these things for a living, decided I needed a gym for myself for this fight and he built one in my back garden," said the 29-year-old.
"It's got everything a boxer needs – a couple of running machines, two big bags, a floor-to-ceiling speed ball for my reactions, plus changing rooms and showers."
And the Midlands champion has hit back at Elcock's claims that he "hasn't fought anyone".
"I never disrespect anyone, but Wayne has been put down twice and I've never been on the floor as an amateur or professional," he said.
