A Wolverhampton boy band dreaming of the big time is celebrating after it won a record contract with Clann Records to produce four albums.

4Sure, who set up almost three years ago, is made up of Donovan Bailey, aged 39, Chris Jones, aged 25, Jermaine Sanderson, aged 24, and Andrew Fisher, aged 31, four lads born and bred in the city.

The quartet, who appeared on X Factor in 2006, met up with former Wolves footballer Don Goodman at Wolverhampton Lawn, Tennis & Squash Club in Newbridge Crescent so he could be a witness for the contract signing.

Lead singer Donovan Bailey, of Tipton, said: "We've been discussing this with the record label since July, so it's a relief to get it finalised. Clann Records is based in Ireland and is an independent label, and the important thing for us is that the people there want us to express ourselves in our music.

"We've already got enough material for two of the albums, it's a case of sitting down and recording the music so we can start putting it all together."
