Stanley stretch unbeaten league run to eight games.

Elliott List scored in the second minute of added time to rescue a point for Northampton in a 1-1 draw at Accrington.

Stanley still extended their unbeaten league run to eight games but missed out on a win which would have taken them into the play-off positions.

The Reds got off to a dream start when Tyler Walton’s fifth-minute cross found on-loan Bolton striker Charlie Warren at the far post and he fired home his fourth league goal of the season.

David Tutonda and Donald Love both had shots cleared off the line for the Reds, who dominated the first-half chances.

Northampton made a double substitution at the break and looked more creative.

However, it was Stanley who should have doubled their lead on 53 minutes but Love could only guide Alex Henderson’s cross over the bar.

The Cobblers pressed for an equaliser in the final 10 minutes as Tyrese Fornah’s strike was cleared off the line and Matty Warhurst headed over.

Then came late drama when substitute List got the ball in the area and fired home.
