Zyro, Silver! Away! Pole ace set for debut
Polish winger Michal Zyro could be in line for his Wolves debut this weekend.
And the 23-year-old seems to have settled well into life at his new club.
Boss Kenny Jackett has been impressed with how the former Legia Warsaw man has played in training.
And Jackett remains open as to where he will blood Zyro in what could be a much-changed attack against West Ham in the FA Cup.
Wolves host Fulham in the Championship next Tuesday, before another important Molineux clash against Cardiff a few days later.
With the league being the clear priority, the likes of Adam Le Fondre, Nathan Byrne, Bjorn Sigurdarson and Jed Wallace will be hopeful of getting a run out at Upton Park, as well as Zyro.
Jackett said of his new signing: "Michal Zyro's been training with us and looks good.
"He's come off the back of an ankle injury so he hasn't played for a while, although he's had sub appearances.
"But he's been training fine and looks good to go."
Zyro was predominantly a winger for Legia Warsaw, but where does Jackett see him fitting into the Wolves side?
"As a young player he started as a centre forward," he added. "But his first-team football has been wide left or wide right in a 4-3-3, that's where he's played and he's played there for Poland.
"He's left footed, 6ft 2in, where do I see him at Wolves? I see him as being able to fill any of the front positions. I'm looking forward to working with him to see where he produces his best.
"He's definitely an option behind the front man, his heading ability, his physique, that's definitely a possibility as a number 10. Behind the striker it looks like he has some strengths.
"His English is very good and he'll fit in no problem, he's a very good character."
