West Brom's Brown Ideye talks of his ticket
West Brom striker Brown Ideye has spoke of his bizarre run-in with a Baggies-mad parking warden.
The striker was slapped with a parking ticket despite being recognised by the warden and asked to pose for a picture.
He said: "It was strange. I went to the Mailbox to grab a coffee, came out and saw a guy giving me a ticket.
"As soon as he saw me, he just started screaming and everybody just started looking and I asked him what he was doing.
"He said he would have to give me a ticket but, first of all, we had to take a picture I took a selfie with him.
"Then he handed me the ticket and started screaming 'You're a great player, I really like you, I'm a big West Brom fan, blah, blah, blah but I still have to pay the ticket!
"I was a bit annoyed but I just laughed about it, because of the way he started screaming."
