WEST BROM
West Brom could rush through a new contract for emerging striker Saido Berahino, with the England Under-21 star being monitored by Tottenham Hotspur.
West Brom scout Leonardo Masieri was spotted at the Italian second-tier game between Modena and Brescia at the weekend.
ASTON VILLA
Speculation is rife that Manchester United are putting together a package for Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar, who will become a free agent at the end of the season
Villa have also been linked with a move for unwanted Porto defender Rolando, who will be made available in the January transfer window for around £800,000.
Villa, Inter Milan and Albion have all been linked with the defender, although the Baggies currently have four centre-halves on their books.
