The club have reportedly entered talks with manager Paul Lambert over a new deal at Villa Park. His current contract has 18 months to run.
Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso is preparing to make his Coventry City debut tonight after making a loan switch to the Sky Blues. Manager Steven Pressley has said Delfouneso has been "blown away" by his team mates in training.

Former Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings is being lined up with a coaching role at Shrewsbury Town.
