Elokobi has been selected for a training camp in France from November 14-17 and looks set to become Wolves' 15th full international on their books from eight different countries.

Another prospect, Matt Jarvis, must wait until next Saturday to see if he earns a call for England's friendly against the Faroe Islands.

This is Elokobi's first call-up at any level. Although there is no competitive football on the trip, he will hope to win a place in the squad for the next Euro 2012 qualifiers with Senegal next March and June.

"I'm absolutely over the moon," he said. "Any footballer wants to play for his country and this is a great opportunity."

Hunt is included in Giovanni Trapattoni's 27-strong preliminary Ireland party for a friendly against Norway at the Aviva stadium on November 17, joining Wolves team-mates Kevin Foley and Kevin Doyle.

Hunt said: "I've been looking forward to playing for the Irish team again I was always hoping to be fit for this friendly."
