Wantaway striker to join Wolves' pre-season training camp
The striker is likely to leave the club this summer.
Tolu Arokodare is flying out to join his Wolves team-mates on pre-season despite being in talks to leave the club, the Express & Star understands.
The striker did not travel with the rest of the squad at the beginning of the week as they flew out to Portugal for a warm weather training camp, amid interest from other clubs.
Both Fiorentina and Trabzonspor have had loan offers rejected and it is understood Arokodare prefers a move to Italy, with the clubs still in talks over a potential deal.
Arokodare has been doing individual training away from the team during this time, but he is now flying out to Portugal tonight (Thursday) to join his team-mates for the last two days of their trip as his move has not yet materialised.
He will train with the team on Friday, despite still being in talks to depart this summer.
The reason for him joining the team is due to a minor calf injury sustained by Adam Armstrong, which has stopped him from training for the last few days, and Arokodare is needed to bolster the training group and give Cesar Peixoto more options.
Wolves signed Arokodare for around £24million last summer but he scored just three Premier League goals and is still expected to leave the club this summer.
