Gary O’Neil has backed Tommy Doyle to handle the pressure of stepping up to the Premier League with Wolves.
The 21-year-old arrived on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan from Manchester City, with Wolves’ holding a £4.3million purchase option.
Having missed the fixture with Crystal Palace due to a knee injury, the midfielder has trained during the international break and could make his Wolves debut against Liverpool tomorrow – and O’Neil believes he will cope with the pressure of playing in the top flight.
