Wolves boss Nuno thinking about new signings every day
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists he is spending 'every moment of the day' thinking about how he can improve the squad in January.
Nuno has also highlighted the importance of getting deals done next month, stressing 'we need players'.
It is understood Wolves want to bring in a centre-half as they look to bolster the small squad, and Nuno said: "I'm thinking.
"Every moment of the day, I'm thinking.
"I'm thinking about how things can be better for us – every day. It's every day."
When asked if that planning has been done with the scouting team, Nuno said: "No, no. It's by myself, thinking, trying. Let's see what happens."
Wolves were linked with forward Hwang Hee-chan of Red Bull Salzburg, but they have since lost Takumi Minamino to Liverpool and the Austrian club's sporting director Christoph Freund said Hee-chan will 'stay and will play in Salzburg in spring'.
A centre-half, though, is thought to be the club's priority.
Willy Boly remains on the sidelines after breaking his ankle in training in October, while Jesus Vallejo has struggled since arriving on loan from Real Madrid in the summer – and could potentially return to the Spanish club early.
For Nuno, the emphasis is on bringing in players with the right attitude, as well as the ability, to succeed at the top level.
"Of course. It's important. When you have a strong balance as a group, you want them to continue this way," he said.
"Let's see what happens. Of course, we need players.
"Now is the moment to work together to try to find the best decisions, the best players that will come. We have decisions to make."
Nuno did not want to reveal the specific areas he is looking at as 'we still have a lot of chances to speak before the beginning of the winter market'.
He is also aware other clubs may show interest in some of his stars, with Wolves sixth in the Premier League and in the last 32 of the Europa League.
"This can happen. The moment the window opens, anything can happen," added Nuno.
