John Ruddy

A couple of dodgy handling moments when he pawed at a cross and got in a muddle with Douglas – leading to the corner from which QPR scored. Conversely he made a couple of important saves, particularly from Wszolek and then when he stood tall to block Washington when he was through on goal in the last minute. 6/10

Ryan Bennett

Produced one of the tackles/blocks of the season when he slid in to deny Smith a tap-in when the score was at 2-1. 7/10

Conor Coady

You'd want this guy on the battlefield with you. Revels in the backs-to-the-wall situation that Wolves found themselves in at times during the second half. A succession of important interceptions and clearances and then he saved Wolves a point when clearing off the line in the last minute. Not the first time he's done that either. 8/10

Willy Boly

Picked out Cavaleiro in the build-up to the opener and played some excellent searching passes in the first half. Then in the second half he epitomised Wolves' surprising nervousness. Boly's a man mountain of a defender who is too good for the Championship but he, in football's equivalent of suave sophisticated Cat in Red Dwarf transforming into king of the dorks Dwayne Dibley, lost all his composure. Kept giving the ball away, skewed some clearances, was easily beaten by Eze for a good QPR chance and allowed the ball to drop over his head for Matt Smith's volleyed effort. Normally the man is a class act but this was probably his poorest game in a Wolves shirt. 5/10

Matt Doherty

A fairly anonymous game for Doherty bar the chance he missed when teed up by Afobe late on. Defensively he was fine. 6/10

Alfred N'Diaye

Off the pace in the second half and contributed to quite a few QPR opportunities, either by playing a slack pass or being out of position. Plenty of QPR's play came through the middle and this was the first time Saiss' absent has been felt since the Moroccan picked up his hamstring injury. Gets a bonus point for his goal, which came from one of his favoured late runs into the box, aka Alfred the late. 6/10

Ruben Neves

Some dreamy moments in the first half when he basically ran the show like the conductor he is. Like Wolves he struggled a bit in the second but he was overrun in midfield at times. 7/10

Barry Douglas

Good going forward but beaten too easily on a couple of occasions after the break. 6/10

Helder Costa

Three good performances in a row makes this his most consistent run of the season by far. Scored his first goal from open play since his comeback from injury last September. Has visibly grown in confidence and is making things happen. 8/10

Diogo Jota

Some great link up play especially for the second goal when he released Cavaleiro. Also teed up Afobe for a golden late chance. A few decent efforts at goal in a busy afternoon, but it was a surprise to see him stay on instead of the withdrawn Cavaleiro and Costa. 7/10

Ivan Cavaleiro

Here's a man who's enjoying his football. Galloped around the QPR half with the giddy exuberance of Theresa May in a field of wheat. Two great assists for N'Diaye and Costa. 8/10

Substitutes

Benik Afobe (for Cavaleiro, 65)

Criticise him for missed chances or praise him for getting in great positions and causing no end of problems to a defence that couldn't handle him? Let's go for the latter. He's perhaps trying too hard at that final moment but you can't argue with his build-up play, that cross to Doherty or getting free of his markers. The goals will definitely come. Great enthusiasm. 7/10

Morgan Gibbs-White (for Costa, 77)

Talking of great enthusiasm, what a positive impact Gibbs-White has been having of late. The nutmeg was special, the touches often sublime and the energy levels high. 7/10

Subs not used: Norris, Batth, Miranda, Vinagre, Mir.
