Nuno delighted as Wolves return to winning ways
Nuno Espirito Santo felt his team were good value for the win after they beat Ipswich Town 1-0.
Matt Doherty's header from Barry Douglas' cross was enough for Wolves to return to winning ways following a run of four games without victory in all competitions.
"I'm happy about the performance we had today," he said.
"It wasn't comfortable. We had organisation, shape, hard work and focus. That's what is important for us.
"The Ipswich goalkeeper was one of the best players on the pitch – that says a lot. We created a lot and it could have been a different score.
"Keep building, keep creating and naturally things will come.
"It was a good move (for the goal) and has a lot to do with the way we play – full back to full back.
"We created a lot of things and I'm more pleased with the way we controlled our opponent."
Wolves spent last week in Marbella and the head coach feels it was a beneficial getaway for his players.
"It was a good week and it was planned long ago," he added. "We have a plan and we stick with our plan.
"We said to ourselves it was a good moment to go and a good moment to work. We worked really hard – it was not about going there and just sitting in the sun.
"A word for our fantastic fans, they came a long way to support us and in the end they celebrated with us.
"We hope we can always give them this moments of joy."
Romain Saiss missed out with a hamstring problem and was replaced by Alfred N'Diaye, who gave an impressive performance in central midfield.
Nuno said of the pair: "Saiss has a problem, he's been struggling with the situation and we decided to give him some rest and hope in the next week he'll be better.
"The players have to realise when the chance comes they have to give good responses. Alfred's one of those cases that's always 100 per cent."
The transfer window closes on Wednesday night and Nuno didn't rule out any business being done.
He said: "It's open, like I always say. We're really pleased with the squad but the market is there so we have to stay wise and realise if a good chance comes, okay. But at the same time we have to not allow anyone to go away."
