Wolves striker Leo Bonatini is embracing football at Christmas
Top scorer Leo Bonatini says it's no problem to be playing so many games over Christmas – and he's even enjoying the English weather.
Brazilian striker Bonatini has made a prolific start to life in England, scoring 12 goals to place him joint second in the Championship scoring charts.
And despite four games in 11 days coming up the 23-year-old has no qualms about putting in the hours at Christmas.
"It's a bit different to play the day after Christmas and a lot of games in this time," he said.
"But my first day I was here they told me about it, so we had it in our mind. It's not a surprise.
"I really like the weather! I enjoy it here It's completely different from Brazil, yesterday the summer started there.
"My parents are here, they arrived last week. It's good to have them here at home supporting me.
"They're enjoying the weather too! It's really nice to have them here, I feel more at home.
"We knew all about it. We know it'll be busy but the staff know how to manage it and it will be fine for us.
"We will respect the opposition, try to do our football and just look at the next game which is the most important one."
There'll be a full house at Molineux for today's visit of Ipswich and Bonatini can't wait to see and hear the Wolves fans in full flow over the festive period.
"I'm excited to see because it will be my first time here in England and I want to see what the fans are like at this time," he added.
"For us we are there to work, not to celebrate. We hope to celebrate the victories but on the pitch we respect the opponent.
"The fans just need to do what they're doing, we really like them coming to join us."
Bonatini is also enjoying the defensive side of the game, helping Wolves to keep clean sheets by defending from the front.
He added: "It's impossible to play one game that no one will attack you.
"All the guys are really important for us. And we have a lot of guys who are on the bench and don't play, but they never give up and are always here with us.
They are important for us and working hard and waiting for their opportunity."
