John Ruddy

For the first goal, having raced from his line to meet Conor Washington he'll have been disappointed not to claim it. Nearly cost a second when he failed to claim a deep free kick, meaning Coady had to clear off the line. 5/10

Danny Batth

Enjoyed the physical battle and generally kept things error-free but could have done better when bringing the ball out from the back. 6/10

Conor Coady

One great clearance off the line from Washington's lob. His distribution from the back wasn't as effective as recent weeks, a general theme throughout the side on a day when QPR allowed Wolves little time on the ball. 6/10

Roderick Miranda

A tough second half in particular for Miranda who struggled with the considerable physical presence of 6ft 6in striker Matt Smith. Miranda was given a warning when Smith got ahead of him to nod just wide...and exactly the same thing happened for the winning goal. With Willy Boly, Kortney Hause and Ryan Bennett all now fit, Miranda's place looks vulnerable. 5/10

Matt Doherty

Rested in midweek but this was an unremarkable performance from Doherty who had little impact going forward. Did throw himself at the ball to get a crucial deflection on a shot that hit the bar, but otherwise fairly anonymous. 6/10

Ruben Neves

A couple of moments when he threatened to unlock the QPR defence including when he brilliantly picked out Douglas and Jota. Wolves needed more of that, though. 6/10

Romain Saiss

Needed to be more forceful for the first goal where Cousins beat him to the ball and fed Washington. Not dreadful but not great either on a day when highly-motivated QPR overran Wolves in midfield. Picked up his fifth booking of the season meaning he's suspended for Tuesday's trip to Norwich. 6/10

Barry Douglas

A few weeks ago he'd probably have had a goal an assist, but here he instead produced a weak shot from a good position and then over-hit a cross with Jota and Bonatini looking for a tap-in. Typical of his current form, which is below the very high standards he set in the opening weeks. A sloppy pass put Wolves in trouble in the build-up to the winner. 5/10

Ivan Cavaleiro

Not his day. Often took one touch too many and he was also caught offside far too many times, Wanted a penalty for a push shortly after half time but it wouldn't have been an issue had he shot earlier. Substituted shortly afterwards. 5/10

Leo Bonatini

Scored his eighth goal of the season with a powerful finish just before half time and should have scored another when Jota teed him up again on the hour mark. Wolves rarely look as effective as an attacking unit when he's not on the field and that was the case here too. 7/10

Diogo Jota

Wolves most likely option for a bit of magic, which he duly provided for the goal when he went on a searing run down the left which QPR just couldn't handle. Sublime link-up with Bonatini for a great chance in the second half. He later should have done better when played into the box by Enobakhare but shot straight at the keeper. Looked frustrated with his team mates at times. 7/10

Substitutes

Helder Costa (for Cavaleiro, 57)

Given 33 minutes to impress but he did nothing of note. Just isn't himself yet. Reluctant to run full pelt at the opposition and keeps picking the safe option. 5/10

Bright Enobakhare (for Bonatini, 71)

A frustrating cameo. Teed up Jota with a decent pass but was later infuriatingly caught offside twice deep inside QPR's half when Wolves were chasing the game, despite being able to look down the line. 5/10

Ben Marshall (for Neves, 84)

No time to make an impact. N/A

Subs not used: Norris, Bennett, Boly, N'Diaye.
