Will Norris

A debut for the new goalkeeper and he did all that was asked of him – which wasn't very much. Took a nice early solid catch which will have settled any nerves. Yeovil mustered only one shot on target and he dealt with it comfortably. Other than that he could have put a deckchair up. 6/10

Ryan Bennett

The most assured of the back three. In fact he's generally gone about his business in a very confident and unruffled manner since the start of pre-season. It shows the strength of the defensive options available to Nuno that Bennett hasn't started as first choice. 6/10

Danny Batth

A couple of decent balls out from the back but also a dodgy one to Boly that was almost costly. But Batth, like so many of his team mates, is adapting to a new style of play and that'll take time. 6/10

Willy Boly

Similar to Saturday he made defending look easy at times but also had a couple of mistakes in him. Ventured forward on occasion including with a great ball to Bonatini which led to a decent chance in the first half. Either he or Batth (or both) were sloppy in allowing Surridge the freedom of the penalty area for a big Yeovil chance just before Dicko's winner. Looks a big threat in the opposition box – he nearly scored with a first half header. 6/10

Jack Price

Moved the ball around briskly and did okay, generally keeping things tidy, but he will have wanted to make a bit more of an impact to convince Nuno he should be in the team ahead of Saiss, especially after the Moroccan's man of the match performance against Boro. It was tough to pick defence splitting passes against such a defensive side, though. 6/10

Jordan Graham

Utilised in an unusual wing back role. Didn't really beat his man in open play but the service to him wasn't great. Easing his way back into action and it should be remembered he's only played 186 minutes of competitive football since January 2016. Rarely fails to provide an assist and he didn't disappoint on that front, finally hitting the sweet spot from a corner to land one on Dicko's head. Plenty more to come from him this season. 6/10

David Edwards

Wasn't his night. His precise role wasn't clear at times and he didn't get in the box in the style we've been accustomed to over the years. Like Price he'll have wanted to do more to stake his claim. Visibly frustrated to have been taken off on 69 minutes. 5/10

Connor Ronan

Started so brightly with some lovely one-touch passes and tried to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but his passing range soon became a bit wayward and he didn't dictate play like we know he can. It'll be interesting to see where Nuno thinks he can get the best from Ronan, who has so much talent but not a glaringly obvious position in a 3-4-3. It just didn't click for him here but the great thing about Ronan is he never hid from the ball.. 5/10

Ruben Vinagre

A positive presence down the left flank and looked to make things happen, particularly at the start of the second half when he lifted what was by then a flagging team performance. Vibrant, energetic, quick and creative. He's certainly raw, and aged 18 you'd expect that, but definitely has something about him. 7/10

Leo Bonatini

This game all about fitness for Saturday's match-winner. Nothing much really came off for him and he took an extra touch on too many occasions. But he'll be much better off for the 69 minute run-out he got. 5/10

Nouha Dicko

Grabbed the only goal of the game to get Wolves out of a sticky situation. He'll have been gutted to miss the last two games of pre-season through injury, and then being unable to start against Boro and seeing a fellow striker grab the glory. But here was Dicko telling Nuno he should still be his first choice striker. Apart from the goal his all-round play wasn't bad at all. Some nice link-up play, especially in the first half, and then he barged his way into the box, classic Dicko style, for another chance just after his goal. He's trying very hard to adapt his natural game. And if you include pre-season games that's five goals in his past 11 starts. 7/10

Substitutes

Bright Enobakhare (for David Edwards, 69)

Injected some much-needed positivity and energy into Wolves' play, looking to raise the tempo and take players on. It'll be interesting to see if he starts at Derby on Saturday with Ivan Cavaleiro back from suspension. Nuno has taken a shine to him and that show of faith and trust could be exactly what Bright needs. 6/10

Diogo Jota (for Leo Bonatini, 69)

As above, showed some nice trickery and brisk movement to help open up the Yeovil defence. Still finding his feet but looks like he can make a big impact this season. 6/10

Romain Saiss (for Connor Ronan, 81)

Not much time to impress but he helped shore things up and keep possession in the closing minutes. N/A

Subs not used: Burgoyne, Miranda, Coady, Doherty.
