Transfer Rumours - July 3
Expressandstar.com brings you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
Wolves
Wolves could be in the market for another left-back with Ipswich's Jonas Knudsen rumoured to be on the move.
The Danish international has made 82 appearances for the Tractor Boys after moving from from Danish side Esbjerg fB in 2015.
Willy Boly rejected the chance to move to the Championship last summer but could now potentially join target Ruben Neves and Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves.
The FC Porto starlet, who became the youngest captain in Champions League history against Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2015, aged just 18, has been scouted frequently by Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
West Brom
Albion are set to re-kindle interest in Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho.
Carvalho has recently been playing for Portugal in the Confederations Cup, and he helped them to achieve a third place finish. He impressed in the tournament and once again put his name in the shop window.
The asking price for the powerhouse is sure to be big, with a move likely to break the Baggies’ club-record transfer if a deal is struck.
And another name familiar to Albion fans is midfielder Ignacio Camacho.
'Footballing reasons' was the explanation why Albion did not sign the £15m midfielder last summer.
But with Darren Fletcher having left the club, Tony Pulis could be set to trigger his 18 million euro release clause.
Aston Villa
A year after signing Mile Jedinak from Crystal Palace, Aston Villa want to raid Selhurst Park for James McArthur.
McArthur was at one point Palace's best midfielder, having arrived from Wigan in 2014 and made100 appearances in the past three years for the club.
But he lost his place under Sam Allardyce last season and also struggled with injuries which curtailed any chances of a run in the side.
