Wolves fans' verdict on festive Forest victory
Our fans are full of Christmas cheer after Wolves' 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest.
Chris Hughes
What's your verdict on the match? Overall a very efficient away performance. Both sides looked poor in a tepid first half but only one side looked like winning after the break.
Not a great deal of action to comment on in either goalmouth but the most encouraging thing was seeing Jack Price back in a commanding midfield performance, along with a 'bright' display from Bright in the 10 role.
It was thoroughly refreshing having someone in that role who was prepared to take possession of the ball and run at our opposition. His positive attitude created the opener for Costa before half-time in the one notable attack of the half.
An encouraging display overall that we need to build on in our next game to gather some momentum.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? The starting front four, despite struggling to create clear-cut chances, were all full of energy and running. On another day their flicks and tricks mate have ended with us scoring four or five.
Price was exceptional in front of the back four, marshalling the troops with confidence and natural leadership to organise the whole team and keep us in shape. He was also proficient with the ball in possession.
No one really stood out as having a bad game. An injury-stricken Forest provided little attacking threat and our defence will not have an easier afternoon all season.

What's your verdict on the match? It was a slow burner of a start with neither side sure of themselves, but there was no doubting we got further forward with 4-2-4.
Things slowly came together as the first half wore on. We were able to push on more and more with Bright shining, then a great Costa strike put a different slant on half time discussions.
In the second half we continued to push on, unlike last Tuesday at Cardiff and needed another goal (or did we...I thought Forest were very poor) and a great move was finished off with Cavaleiro's cool finish.
Overall it was great to watch Wolves attacking virtually the whole game. I liked Price and Edward's static positions, holding the midfield.
Yes there were a few wobbles at the back in first half but if all we've got to worry about it Matt Mills getting forward for them, then no worries.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? Enobakhare's front-foot searching play was good. Yes he's got a lot to learn - he keeps being knocked off the ball and committing silly (although perfectly innocent) fouls, but all in all the future's Bright (yes, I know).
And substitute Connor Ronan looked so very confident, displaying some excellent touches and undoubted skill on his full league debut.
I'm sorry to say I thought Dicko was pretty anonymous, although on the other hand his movement continually gave Costa and Cavaleiro options.

What's your verdict on the match? It makes a very pleasant change to see the smiles as we leave any game with three points.
It was totally deserved, with the 2-0 scoreline being something of a blessing for an appalling Forest team who were reportedly missing a few regulars but who missed the main ingredient - passion.
Wolves did the simple things well, worked hard, passed the ball well and totally bossed possession.
And they scored great goals by players now really starting to come into their own as we took a far more attacking approach with Dicko, Cavaleiro and Enobakhare all linking well up front.
There was also a lovely cameo role from Connor Ronan who looked at home when introduced with 10 minutes to go.
The Wolves choir were also in great form reinventing old songs and introducing others to further inspire the team.
It was all summed up for me by the reaction of Richard Stearman when we went 2-0 up - he celebrated like we had won the league and it is commitment and desire like that that could and should see us moving quickly up the league.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? There were good performances all round to give us an excellent festive feeling.
As for man of the match - last year I gave them my heart but this week I give it to Helder Costa (if you were not there, you wont know!)
